Septianie Putri (b. 1997) is an illustrator and visual artist, from Jakarta, Indonesia. Her work investigates themes surrounding the uncertain future of the Anthropocene, humanity, and environmental issues, often utilizing speculative fiction and world-building. Putri reconstructs reality by creating imaginary creatures, alternative worlds, and parodies of everyday objects as her narrative tools. Through her practice, she reflects on and critiques the world we inhabit to open a conversation for a better future. She graduated from MA Illustration and Visual Media at University of the Arts London.

In her practice, Putri uses watercolor, gouache, and acrylic ink, experimenting with various surfaces to paint on such as paper, canvas, and wood, with a preference for sustainable materials.
